I work directly with architects, engineering firms, installers and property developers, mainly in the province of Girona. My work covers new builds, refurbishments and project amendments, as well as occasional connectivity studies.

When is an ICT project mandatory?
In Spain it is mandatory for buildings and developments under horizontal property (condominium) ownership, whether residential or not, and for buildings let for more than one year, except single-dwelling buildings. The council cannot grant a permit to build them or fully refurbish them unless the architectural project includes the ICT project (Royal Decree-Law 1/1998, articles 2 and 3).
Who can sign it?
Someone holding an official university degree in engineering, technical engineering, or a master’s or bachelor’s degree whose curriculum gives them competence in telecommunications (Royal Decree-Law 1/1998, article 3.1). I sign as a Technical Telecommunications Engineer registered with COETTC, member no. 274.
Which drawings do you need for a quote?
The architectural drawings in PDF or DWG: site plan, floor plans, section and, if available, elevations and roof plan. With the number of dwellings and commercial units and the project stage I can assess it.
How does the quote work?
Three steps: you send me the drawings, we talk on the phone and you get a detailed quote. I never quote without seeing the drawings, because every building is different.
How long does it take?
I call you within 24–48 hours of receiving the drawings. The project timeline depends on size and stage, and I confirm it during the call.
Do you work outside the province of Girona?
Yes. Most of my work is in the province of Girona, but I have done projects around Barcelona, the Baix Llobregat, Penedès, Bages and Berguedà areas, as well as in Madrid, Palma, Qatar and Peru.
